Overview
The GT4 is one of the most ultimate versions of the Cayman available and has everything to get your pulse racing, a 4.0 litre naturally aspirated engine producing 414 hp and a manual transmission. An extremely capable car on track due to it’s very fast cornering abilities being mid-engined and enough power to get you from 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds. This is one of the most exciting Porsche’s on the market, with technology coming from the 911 GT3. This is the second Cayman to be called a GT4, but the 718 has 40% more downforce over the 981 Cayman, allowing you to grip through corners and accelerate even harder. This is deemed as one of the very best track day cars money can buy, due to the capability as mentioned above, however no need for a trailer as it is comfortable to still drive on the road. If you are committed to purchasing a GT4 for track purposes, the optional Chrono Package will allow you to record lap times and optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are a big upgrade to allow you to brake that bit later, and dig into the corners at breathtaking speeds.
