The second phase of the 991 brings all types of improvements in the Carrera. First thing you will notice with the 991.2 are the design changes to both the exterior and interior. What most people aren’t aware of, is almost every panel was changed, modified or redesigned for the 991.2 generation. The only areas that were not changed were the doors and the roof. Most noticeable changes you will see were the curvature of the fenders (front and rear) and the front and rear bumpers were redesigned. From 2018 onward, the headlight washer was removed as an option on the 991.2, so you may also notice this small detail on more recent models.
This Carrera T is different to the standard Carrera, and is about £8,000 more. The difference with the “T” is that it is in fact based on the standard Carrera, but is more lightweight, rear-wheel drive only, has no rear seats, thinner glass and can even be specced to not have any sat nav or radio to save on weight. The driving in this car is changed to get more performance, with a shortened gear lever and standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 10mm lower ride height and the Sports Chrono Pack.
