Overview

Just before the facelift in 2007, Porsche released the Cayenne Turbo S. The main change for this model is it came with an exclusive paint choice: Marine Blue Metallic. It has a power increase to 528hp.

Interestingly, the Turbo was offered only with a six-speed Tiptronic S transmission, that gave the choice of fully automatic changes, or manual shifts via either steering wheel mounted paddles or the selector lever.

The air suspension controlled the vehicle’s height so it sat closer to the ground at high speed to give increased stability. In off-road mode, on the other hand, the ground clearance could increase to up to 555mm to negotiate rough terrain.

The Turbo S had a well-appointed interior, with full leather all round, an electrically adjustable and heated steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats, Bose sound system, sat-nav and much more.
