Porsche launched the Turbo S Exclusive Series to represent the first Exclusive model that Porsche launched, exactly 25 years ago based on the Turbo – the 964 Turbo S Lightweight in “Speed Yellow”.
What makes the Exclusive Series different to a “normal” 911 Turbo S, is elements to the performance and the design. Firstly, the design; it has a carbon structure on front lid and the roof to make it more lightweight, and has two exposed carbon-weaved stripes down the car to represent this. The mirrors and side air intakes are also made from carbon fibre. The very noticeable design element on the Exclusive Series is the colour: Golden Yellow Metallic, with tinted LED main headlights and high-gloss black painted front air intakes. The wheels have a new design, 20-inch with central locking device, that are primed in Golden Yellow Metallic, before being overpainted in high-gloss black, with the final stage of the Golden Yellow Metallic carefully lasered out to give it the accents. The same detail of black with Golden Yellow Metallic accents are found on the brake callipers. On the interior, the Golden Yellow colour continues across the instrument cluster and many other trim elements.
The Performance; higher than the standard 911 Turbo S, with the same 3.8 litre twin-turbo engined, but producing a 607hp (27hp more) and a maximum torque of 750Nm. The results are 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds.
The standard car from factory was finished in Porsche’s unique Golden Yellow Metallic, however they gave choice of personalisation on this exclusive model, and an alternative paint choice was the Agate Grey Metallic or Carrera White Metallic for no extra cost. For those that wanted to personalise it more, for an additional fee you could have this finished in: Blue Metallic, Black, or Guards Red.
